About me

My decision to train as a reflexologist came when I felt it may be time to move on from 42 years as a nurse. Reflexology allows me to stay connected to healthcare and utilize the skills and knowledge I have built up over the years. I have always believed that stress contributes to dis-ease which can be the root cause of many chronic health conditions. Health concerns are often far more than the presenting pathology.

The feeling of nurture and relaxion that reflexology can promote, alongside its holistic approach was the perfect move forward for me. An holistic ethos is now advocated by the NHS and treatment is slowly moving away from the traditional fragmentation of care towards putting the person at the centre and listening to what concerns them.

I qualified at the London School of Reflexology in June 2019 and am also trained in the award-winning Bergman Zone Method of Facial Reflexology. I recently studied Maternity Reflexology with Sally Earlam, and I look forward to being able to support women throughout their pregnancy journey. I still work at King's College Hospital as a Registered Nurse, and practice reflexology from my home in Dulwich, South London.
